Adopting advanced CMOSens sensing technology, the AHT-503 Series temperature and humidity transmitter is designed as the reliable sensor node of temperature and humidity measurement and usually used with the Aecl AUS-40X gateway to build up the private LoRa network. It is equipped with both wired RS485 and wireless LoRa interface which could be changed by DIP switches, meanwhile, the configuration enables its high flexibility of installation. Particularly, the programmable Modbus RTU protocol makes the AHT-503 transmitter ideal for process integration. The LoRa frequency of the AHT-503 temperature and RH transmitter will follow the Aecl master gateway and will be adjustable under range 862 ~ 932 MHz. Moreover, bright LCD display is optional and 4 types of enclosure are available, include wall mount type, duct mount type, outside Air type and separate type with remote sensing probe. The private LoRa sensor is widely used in the smart agriculture, smart building and smart home by system integrators who plan to implement the wireless network. The LoRa frequency of the AQD-101 Air Quality display will follow the Aecl master gateway and will be adjustable under range 862 ~ 932 MHz. The AVC-310 series LoRa CO2 transmitter uses novel gold-plated infrared (NDIR) wave-guide technology to ensure its reliable and accurate reading, long-term stability and long life time. The wireless CO2 transmitter is equipped with swappable RS485 and LoRa interface which could be changed via DIP switches. Moreover, one SPDT dry contact output, which could be configured to a user defined CO2 set point, is designed for demand controlled ventilation in smart agriculture or smart building application. Using Semtech long range low power wireless communication technology, the AVC-310 LoRa CO2 Transmitter is used as the reliable sensor node in the LoRa internet of things. Besides, in addition to the standard CO2 measurement range 0 to 2,000 ppm, high level measurement range 0 to 9999 ppm is also optional.Long term exposure under improper CO2 concentration could cause health issue, for example, inflammation, headache, asthma and bone problems. Most system integrators or individual use the CO2 Transmitter together with the BMS system or air-conditioning system to alert people for the change of CO2 level. When the CO2 concentration is higher than the setting point, AVC-310 can trigger the backend alarm or ventilation devices with relay output to make the air circulation work to adjust the indoor air quality.
AVC-311 LoRa transmitter is a wireless sensor node which combines carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity (RH) measurement in one device. Embedded advanced non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) CO2 sensing element and CMOSens temperature and humidity sensing element, the transmitter provides a high resolution of the environmental measurements in stable long range LoRa communication. Its data format is under Modbus RTU protocol which makes the transmitter ideal for most control system. In addition to the switchable RS485 interface and LoRa interface which could be easily changed by DIP switches, the air quality transmitter is also equipped with one SPDT dry contact which can be configured to a user defined CO2 set point for ventilation control. The LoRa frequency of the LoRa temperature, humidity and CO2 transmitter will follow the Aecl master gateway and will be adjustable under range 862 ~ 932 MHz. Moreover, besides the normal CO2 measurement range 0 to 2,000 ppm, high level CO2 measurement range 0 to 9999 ppm is also optional to the users for the application in the high CO2 concentration.
AVC-110 series LoRa CO transmitter is a wireless air quality transmitter for carbon monoxide detection, it is typically used in the LoRa network to wirelessly collect the carbon monoxide data in the ambient air. The LoRa CO transmitter is available with switchable RS485 interface and LoRa interface and the data format is Modbus RTU protocol. Based on the chemical-electro sensing principle, the wireless CO transmitter is appropriate for reliable monitoring of the carbon monoxide concentration in places which might occur high concentration of CO like loading dock, underground parking, basement, garage or boiler room. Out of the LoRa interface, one additional dry contact is provided to activate the ventilation devices to run the air circulation system when the CO concentration is higher than the setting point 50ppm. Besides, it is usually used as the sensor node in the security system or the fire alarm system to alert people of the leakage of the CO gas. Two measurement ranges 0 to 100ppm and 0 to 250ppm are switchable based on user’s application, furthermore, it is also available for high CO measurement range 30 to 1000ppm.
The Aecl AUS-401 LoRa Gateway is able to wirelessly receive the data from the maximum 32 units of LoRa air quality sensors or end devices via LoRa communication and sends the data to the PLC or computer by RS485 or RS232 interface. The LoRa frequency could be adjusted from 862 ~ 932 MHz based on the regulation of different countries. The data format of the LoRa gateway is Modbus RTU protocol which makes the LoRa solutions more easy to use for system integrators. The Semtech SX1272 RF chip ensures the gateway’s stable wireless data stream, and the wireless communication makes the application more flexible, in the meantime, save more cost of installation. The LoRa gateway is used together with Aecl LoRa air quality sensors as well as the RS485 to LoRa converter to create the internet of things and accelerate the adoption of the IoT network in a simple and economic way. Besides, the transmitted data from AUS-405 is well-encrypted and meets the AES128 Encryption standard. Perfect applications are HVAC System, building management system, agricultural automation and smart storage.
The AUS-405 RS485/ RS232 to LoRa converter is the media for integrating the existing devices such as flow meter, electric meter or water meter into IoT network. The AUS-405 converter is able to receive the data from existing devices via RS485 or RS232 interface and send the data to the AUS-401 master gateway via wireless LoRa communication. Each AUS-405 LoRa converter could connect with maximum 32 units of facilities. The AUS-405 converter allows the users to simplify the process of field devices integration and reduce the cost. The AUS-405 acts perfectly as the slave for the AUS-401 gateway and could easily pair up with the gateway.
