Devices for wireless LoRa environmental measurement
The environmental quality monitoring devices with wireless solution provide a flexible and economic choice for projects.
When it comes to the integration of field sensors, user will encounter the challenge of different protocols between the facility and the system. Aecl develops the private LoRa network based on the Semtech RF technology which features on high interference immunity. The private LoRa network enables the users to integrate the field devices under industrial standard Modbus RTU protocol which commonly used by the automation system or PLC. The whole solution includes gateway, RS485 to LoRa converter, smart plug and also transmitters for temperature, humidity, CO2, CO, HCHO, TVOC, PM2.5, PM10, Oxygen and illuminace.
- LoRa Communication distance: 2~5KM. (The communication length would be varied based on the length of the antenna.)
- The data is fully encrypted with high security
- The LoRa signal strength could be directly checked from the platform to ensure the stability of the wireless communication.
- Frequency: 862 ~ 932 MHz (The frequency channels will be differed by country and this frequency can be configured accordingly from 862 to 932Hz.)
Wireless temperature and humidity transmitter
Aecl develops LoRa transmitter as the sensor node for temperature and relative humidity(RH) measurement in the private LoRa network. Equipped with switchable RS485 and LoRa interface makes the transmitter more flexible for the installation and application.
Wireless indoor air quality monitor and transmitter
Considering that most system integrators might have to monitor multiple air quality indexes in one place, Aecl combines the four critical indoor air quality measurements in one device to make the solutions more cost and effective. The multiple IAQ devices include 3-in-1 air quality transmitter and 4-in-1 air quality display board. The multiple IAQ devices are able to be integrated with the LoRa network as the reliable sensor node for the IAQ data collection. The wireless communication distance could reach 2-5 km in outdoor space. Combining the NDIR CO2 sensors, CMOSen sensors and laser scatter sensors in an enclosure, our multiple gas transmitter or display are able to measure the CO2, PM2.5, Temperature and humidity at the same time. The four air quality parameters are also the critical elements for human health. The devices are widely used in smart building or smart home application to achieve the wireless building management. Besides, considering that the indoor air quality regulation of countries would be different, we also provide OEM services to support the customer to make the multiple gas sensor based on their requirements.
Wireless Carbon Dioxide transmitter
The carbon dioxide concentration is an important index for the indoor air quality evaluation. Aims to develop instrument with high stability and reliability, we adopt microprocessor technology and NDIR sensing elements in the CO2 Transmitter. Furthermore, the LoRa CO2 transmitter is used as the reliable sensor node in LoRa network to build up the internet of things for indoor air quality monitoring.
Wireless Carbon Monoxide transmitter
Aecl launched CO transmitter as the reliable sensor node of CO measurement in private LoRa network. Using Semtech long range and low power LoRa wireless technology, the CO transmitter is able to send the CO data wirelessly to the gateway. Besides, the embedded chemical-electro sensing element allow its excellent performance of translating the environmental CO concentration.
Wireless particulate matter transmitters
Aecl Launched sensor node for particulate matter measurement includes PM2.5 and PM10. The LoRa particulate matter transmitters are used in LoRa network to confidently detect the concentration of particulate matter in the ambient air. Using the laser scattering sensing elements ensures its long term stability. The sensor node is widely used in the building automation system and HVAC system to provide the IAQ data as the reference for the set point of the demand controlled devices.
Wireless TVOC / HCHO transmitters
Aecl launched sensor nodes for toxic gas detection includes TVOC and HCHO which are two common toxic gases indoor. Aim to provide a reliable and stable measurement, we use MEMS metal oxide and Electro-chemical sensing elements which have excellent measuring stability and long life span for TVOC and HCHO measurement. The wireless TVOC and HCHO transmitters are combined in the BMS system to make the environmental monitoring and data analysis for the process integration and internet of things.
